Midfielder Craig Dean has signed for Dundalk until the end of the season from Shelbourne as part of an ongoing cooperation between the two clubs.

On-loan
"He's a 26-year-old midfielder who has played club football in Norway and the Faroe Islands," said club chairman Des Denning. "Born in Birmingham, he started his career with Manchester United, and I think with Shelbourne's link to United, that his availability came about. But as part of an arrangement we made with Shelbourne, if a player became available, they would help us out. He is a full-time player, and will train with Shelbourne four days a week, while he will attend one training session per week in Oriel Park. We will look for Craig to provide more competition in our midfield ranks for the rest of the campaign."
