Good for Pat. Now he's finished being a union representative he can start managing his first proper football club.
As Irishmen we dilute our sense of nation by depending on the English to bring us our balls

Not taking any offers he might have had into the mix, you can't really blame him for resigning from Shels after everything that's happened this season. Shels will find it very hard to replace him. Wonder what the odds are for an load of players leaving now as well.....
If Mattews goes to shels il laugh for at least a month and they wont finish in the top 5 next year.....
And i thought the days of our clubsbeing embarrassed in Europe were over![]()
Guy on the news last night from Derry, saying the club wouldn't take long to name their new manager. So it really looks like Fenlon is heading Foyleside.
Always look on the bright side of life
Thanks to Pat for all the great memories and I wish him all the best in the future except if he goes to Derry!!![]()
Roddy and Ollie made up the other week.....
Shels need Money...... Roddy has connections....![]()

From the outside looked like Fenlon was holding Shels together. Now he gone I expect a lot of players to also leave.

Fenlon pretty much told all who'd care to listen he was gone weeks ago.
His tv presenting mate s couldnt have made the hints any more explicit.
It's a very intriguing development. It'll be interesting to see if Pat can create similar success elsewhere and it'll be interesting to see how it effects Shelbourne. Fair play to Fenlon for seeing the season out. It would have been easy in some senses to hop into the Bohs job with the funds they'll have available.
Dermot Keely was a name bandied about in the press a few months ago in relation to replacing Fenlon.![]()
Great News now we can have heary and crowe at are press confrence on thursday along with mansaram and singh.
I assume you mean a mass exodus from Tolka?
Yes, all those players dreading the thoughts of the Setanta Cup and Champions League football. Why wouldn't they be queuing up to leave?
Thanks Pat for the three titles and eight-game European run. Best of luck whether its in Denmark or Derry.
