Well Waterford are **** sure of themsleves aswell so i wouldn't read anything into that tbh.Going on what i saw last year of them Bray would need a whole lot of new players to do well in the 1st never mind premier Division.

I'm confident we'll be in it next Monday.
The way i look at it Bray are our main contenders for the 12th spot.
We have 267 points for on the Field and Bray have 333.(not 100% definite).
The way i see it you can add at least 400 onto that for us which brings us to 667.Bray need to get 335 to outscore us by a point. You might think that's easy enough but i reckon they'll fall down on
    -Marketing
    -Attendances
-Geographical spread(they're preety much a suburb of Dublin)
    -Youth Developement??
    -Strategic Planning

For those reasons i see plenty of scope for optimism especially considering we could quite easily get more than 400 in the off the field Criteria.

Bray are signing players because they have released at least 7 on last count and some of their signings are players they had on loan last season.Rovers are definitely up their 5 yr record is way better than any of the other teams mentioned .

Its down to ourselves Bray,UCD & Waterford as Dundalks 5 yr record has them up the creek something John Gill and all of Dundalk knew at the start of the season and if they finish ahead of the above mentioned teams the integrity of the whole process would be called into question.

Gufc will be holding a board meeting on Tuesday to approve next years budget (there are 2 depending on whether we go up or stay down) ,United will be announcing the 1st new signings on Wednesday if we go up or not and we will be launching the Season Ticket Campaign at the end of Season Party in the Radisson on Friday.

if our wage bill was unsustainable and irresponsible then how come we actually made a trading profit last season and we have managed to take over 100,000 of our debt over the past 2 seasons and our loans are comfortably being paid back to the banks bang on time
Homer: I'm gonna make sure these deliveries are made on time.
Bart: Let me come with you
    Homer: Dont you have school!
    Bart: Dont you have work!
    Homer: Ah Touche!

same question here S. Duffy i believe Dundalks wage Bill was fairly hefty too. We have seen an increase of over 150% on our gates halved our debt operated in profit this season yet Dundalk who without Mr. Matthews or sorry his money could have gone to the wall are ok.

We actually did and I believe it hasn't gone unnoticed.
A lot of Dundalk fans seem to have very short memories indeed. When you current owner took over midway through this season the talk was of cutbacks next season as the club was being run in a basket-case manner. There was mention of one bus company that wasn't paid for two years and the priority was to get the club back on a financial even keel.

It may well be that Dundalk's good run saw them do ok financially this season, but that certainly was not the feeling when your co-op was dissolved a few months ago. This all now seems to be completely forgotten now somehow....

Oh, and a 6k wage-bill should have you well up the first division, not seeking re-election.
