It'd be madness to charge anymore than €15 in. Even that's a bit steep.

More photos. You can see the new addition of what looks like a large garden shed on the far side. I've no idea what it's for. You can also see that there are some small lights on the front of the stand roof presumably because the floodlights on the roof will be partially blocked by the roof. The building behind the stand seems to be as good as finished too.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
Looks really good lads, hopefully you will be playing there next season. One good stand and maybe more in the future, Is Mr Horkan still involved in UCD ?
He is a good family friend of mine, nice man hard to understand though![]()
We are the SR the SRFC.......
Part time Finn Harps too :)
Schumi
Strange shed may be either, the visiting dignatries hospitality area, the PA Announcers facility and or the mandatory post match Drug testing facility.
Seems as though its good enough to play there now? Why not try and boost attendences by moving now!
Waiting for the new season to move so it can be marketed better. More of an impact that way.
If we're drawn at home in the semi final we should play it in the Bowl, especially if we draw Bohs.
Yes cause Semi-finals used to be played at Neutral venues. And if we haven't played there before the semi-final, it would effectively be a neutral venue , and hopefully the rugby team would have made sh!te of the surface![]()
I was just on a work prawn sandwich ticket to see UCD v Terenure in the egg chasing in the Bowl. It'll take a while for me to feel that place as home. It's a different type of ground alright. Absolutely no space between the perimeter and the stand so that'll aid the no standing policy on that side of the ground. It's also going to be hard to move past people once (if!) the ground begins to fill. They'd better have that cantilever roof in by next season as has been mentioned, those poles are very think and obstructive. There's some very proper looking modern turnstyles set up. Not sure where the shack could go that will take a flow of people but leave a view for the match for those working in it. Also, there's a million entry points onto the pitch as it stands, surely they still have to fill in that perimeter. Finally, for a rugby pitch in mid Winter it looked in very decent condition. The programme had a piece on sharing with the football club and mentioned how there would be heavy effort put into pitch maintainence.

I was there last week myself and saw the turnstiles. They seem to be the type that records the amount of times it goes round so that should make it much easier to get an official attendence.
There won't be. Shop, chipper van etc won't be in a position where the pitch is viewable.
Don't apologise for supporting a UCD team Poor Student, it's expected they would be YOUR rugby team. They are definitely MY rugby team . Great start to the AIL 66% win ratio can't argue with that. If that sort of home record can transfer to the Pete Mahon's Blue and Black Army we'll be ok.
