    Colin P

Wasnt Colin P like a man on a mission last night? he was excellent when he came on. Maybe Georgie could be the answer to our midfield problems with CPOB and Flynny up front?

good to see this, but what midfield problems? greg and rennie are as good a midfield combo as you'll see in this league

Colin P would not IMO be ahead of JOF, GOC or Mulligan up front. I would not play him from the start of the match & really is only useful for when chasing a game or after a win i.e. Colin P will run allover the place & stretch tired defenders. IMO he doesn't have the strength to hold up the ball or cleverness when he has it - he is however a good poacher inside the box as hes quick over a few yards.

Greg is not a right sided midfielder & its to his credit he does ok while out there - IMO only real options ate Warren or Colin 1 depending on their form. I can see both of them alternating & being subbed in equal measure til the end of the season. When city have abig game Gunther will get cagey & put Greg out there.

I'd prefer to see Greg at right back. Carey's marking is far too loose for this level of football. IMO it's worth trying Carey out on right wing. He likes to get forward and might do a good job once he's relieved of the onus of manmarking.

    Almight Allah Noooooooooooooo.

thats exactely the type of thing Murphy would try. If Greg doesn't cut it on the wing why would another fullback work?

Colin 1 & Warren are as good an option we have this season - they not that bad either...

Yeah, pete, I'd gowith Warren. he needs a run, but he probably knows Gunther will f*ck him about. He should get at least 3 games there to try to settle in.

    Talking

How about Devine on the right side???????

He's got the skill ( did you see the little back heel against Bohs? ).
He's got the pace ...... see how fast he gets out of the box to cover for Deccie's c**k ups.
He's got a kick like a mule - if he got within range he could potentially kill the other 'keeper!

Oh my God, I just realised I could have planted a thought in you know who's mind........do you think he reads these messages?

    Erase.....erase......erase.......I was only joking......too late.

NO NO NO NO! A large amount of the criticism of carey is that his distribution has been poor- that would make him an even worse choice on the wng than at full-back.

The way to go is to put Gaz at left back, and Hoggy at right back and then greg and rennie can keep up the good work in the centre.
