Michael McNamara set to take up Gaelic duties again

Michael McNamara, who captained Sligo Rovers in the eircom league, is expected to make himself available to Sligo football manager Tommy Breheny in the coming season.

McNamara is no stranger to the inter-county scene and last played for Sligo in the 2004 Connacht championship. He is one of a number of players who have exited the Showgrounds after deciding not to go full-time.

Sad to see us lose a player to the Gah!.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
