This, in effect, is the reverse situation of what's happening in Tallaght then.

Didn't the South Dublin County Council give Shamrock rovers the ground for free as well before taking it back during their recent troubles.
Don't see much of a difference both got the ground for free but shamrock lost theirs because of their difficulties something that is unlikely to happen to the Kildare GAA
Yeah. I meant its the same situation with the reverse parties, get me?!
Mind you there won't be angry letters goings into any of the local pepers from any County fans.
Yeah got it after I posted sorry. Well there aren't that many of us at the moment anyway so the press can easily choose to ignore us if anyone did decide to pick up a pen
Thats a safe bet. The GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH have the FAI by the balls at the moment anyway (Use of Croker) so I would say a challenage on our end is unlikely. Hope you send them packing though.Buller wrote:
but dont worry, i can assure you that the gaah, being the greedy c*unts they are, have absolutly zero intention of sharing and would fight against it even being discussed! facists...
The FAI don't have balls though.
Yeah can't afford any because the GAAAAAAAAAH have all the money taken (I'm not bitter just can't think of anyone else to blame)
Images of the planned developement for those interested. Has to said it looks very impressive.

It would be better than any ground in the eL no doubt.
The GAA own the grounds in Newbridge. They are selling the site to the County Council also included is a site to build. The Council are giving the site to the Kildare GAA as part of the purchase.
The building of the new stadium will be paid for by the GAA.
Just to add salt to the wound, the only football pitches within Newbridge i.e. Newbrige Towns, are being taken to build offices on. Land will be given to Town further out the Milltown road.
The offices are the Dept of Defence who just happen to own the Curragh Camp where there is no shortage of land.
Yeah Newbridge Town FC are being given a rubbish site aparantly. Terrible access and all.
Sums up the attitude to soccer from governing bodies in this country really. Even the governing body of soccer in Ireland treats the sport poorly ffs.
I agree, I think its a deadly stadium, in relation to one of the other posts, it doesn't matter where in newbridge you get a site, the access is shyte everywhere. I hear another shopping outlets is earmarked for St Conleths, and if that is the case, better to keep away from Newbridge altogether at the weekends, as you won't be able to move!
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
It looks unlikely that St Conleths will be allowed to turn into apartments.
So it will either be a another shopping centre or else, God forbid, some sort of amenity for the locals.
