Mick McCarthy, the biggest journeyman defender of all times !!
"Can he score from row z, like ??"
I'm not sure how to start a Poll...
But who do you think is/was the Ireland's greatest Journeyman?
Chris Morris
Phil Babb
Ian Harte
Eddie "the Eagle" McGoldrick
Bernie Slaven
Any other nominees?

It has to be Tony Cascarino, the one and only original journeyman.
I dunno if that's fair... he did somehow manage to score a lot!
What exactly do you mean by 'greatest journeyman' anyway? The journeyman who could actually play a bit or the one who was the most 'journeymanesque'?
yeah, maybe i should have made it clearer...
... the worst player that always got a game!

Lee Carsley
Gary Breen

Coming from the Blackburn bench and scoring against Holland really has "journeyman" written all over it, doesn't it.
Eamon Dunphy!
Paul Butler
Bernie Slaven
Gary Waddock
Robbie Keane has been a bit of a journeyman !!!
David Connolly

BREEN -> We don't drop muppets, but if we did they would probably be the biggest muppets in the world.
from those suggested above would have to be Eddie McGoldrick - always seemed to be in the squad which was above his usual club standard.
Alan Kernaghan or Terry Phelan. Connolly is well up there too.
Alan Kernaghan or Chris Morris.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
My Personal choice is Chris Morris...
... the mere sight of him on a field annoyed me..
... how he ever got passed the sunday pub league i will never know!
