Did you feel so similalry outwaged when your own wrecked the seats at the Oval in 2005?

    I doubt it.

"Stupid"? Yeah, like your generalisation of Rovers fans previously.

Anyway, I now look forward to the moneys fans of LFC are demanding for damage being forwarded to GFC for similar damage (minus costs for 'sticker damage' and '****-related seat discolouration').

I trust you'll be endorsing that.

Different scenario as you well know, you really do need to wise up. We rented our ground out and the game was under the control of someone else. When the seats were damaged at the Oval (as disgraceful as that was) it was for a Glentoran game that Glentoran were in control of in much the same way that we were in control of the league game that Justin McBride was sent off in. Therefore Glentoran received the same amount of compensation from us as we did for the McBride game. Only but fair?

We will wait and see who exactly is culpable for last Saturday's disgraceful post-match "powercut" when the IFA 'de-brief' on Monday.

****** mr Browne....being an upstanding member of the Linfield Community you will know that the agreement between Glentoran and Linfield was that when a league game was invovled, any supporters who do damage to a ground pay for the damage. That means as we done damage to Windsor on mcBride day we pay for the damage and we honoured that agreement!

On the 23rd April Linfield did not honour their agreement for paying for the damage, which will not be fixed until Glentoran recieve payment, be it from Linfield FC or their sugar daddies IFA.

In Cup games whoever held either semi final, be it Linfield or Glentoran they paid for the damage.

On saturday, the damage done to South and Kop stands, that was similar reasons to why Glentoran FC refused the use of grounds for neutral games last year to the IFA (somethign your fans give us a lot of stick over). A club only gets a couple of hundred pounds rental fee for holding a semi final which they are not invovled in, but it is their liability insurance which cover the games, not the IFA's, the Glens objected to this and were happy to see them go elsewhere as the money recieved hardly covered the electric bill for the games.

Kinda blows your theory outta the water big lad, though Im sure they'll be another spin on it, but lets not let the FACTS get in the way of things eh!

Indeed we did pay up in 1998 and if needs be I can probably pull out the accounts from said period to confirm such!
