I'm a decent shot stopper, but usually rubbish with crosses. There's many different facets of a keeper's job, and keepers will be better at some than others.

not really a cliche but the glib, slangy "It's a big ask" annoys me. also, footballers who say they'll "keep workin hard" <---- ha, ha, hahahaa, football... hard work, imagine.

Now now. No ageism please. I like Jimmy Magee and he isn't the worst commentator around. He certainly doesn't lower himself to the hype of the Sky commentators where any good shot, pass or goal is either "brilliant" or "unbelievable". Worst offender Alan Parry - he used "brilliant" 18 times in one boring game I saw recently .
