Player of the Season: Derek O'Brien went from zero to hero. Cousins got the best out of him.
Under-Performer of the Season: Tomasz Gruska. Poor lad spent the season on the bench.
Best Signing: Tony Cousins. We'd be broke had they given Dolan the job
    Worst Signing: Eric Whatshisname
Best Atmosphere: Rovers game in front of big crowd.
    Best Game: Same again.
Best Away Day: This year is first time since the 1986 season that I didn't go to one away game. Oh, the joys of fatherhood.
Worst Game: Home game v Da Town ...0 - 0. Dire!
Local Hero: Most of them are local heroes. Imagine you supported Longford where there are no locals. Nightmare
Most Impressive Youngster: Alan Keane.Amazing skill for a young lad.
Goal of the Season: Derek O'Brien
Most Consistent Performer: Alan Gough. Legend.
Funniest Moment: Rovers' manager Pat Scully sitting in the stand when he was banned from the pitch. He stood out like a sore thumb. Ha ha ha.
Highlight of the Season: Rovers fans in good spirits despite defeat. Times, they are a changing....
Lowlight of the season: Harps' goal from a throw in. F***ing robbery. In hindsight, that cost us getting to the play off's!!!
Nobody knows us, we don't care
