    Post Harsh Letter

I suppose UCD thought it a nice gesture to send De Athlone a letter complimenting us on the play-off performance and particuliary the large support at the home and away legs, but in all fairness, talk about rubbing salt into our wounds ... it sounds more like a "sure arent ye great auld tryers all the same"

Everyone with anything to do with De Town wants to forget the heartbreak of loosing on penos ... again, so i reckon it was a bit harsh of the students to send a letter reminding us alof it!!!!!

Maybe. They shouldn't ahve waited so long. But talking of mail after the first leg some Athlone fan sent a somewhat taunting reply to the UCD supporters' society e-mail address. A diplomatic reply was sent and then after the second leg one with 'sincere 'and 'heartfelt' regrets was sent.

    Did that ever feel good.
