I've a good programme at home called ImageGrabber. Its available free on the web, PM if want a link (it'll be this evening before I reply...) Its handy if you want to grab a number of images from a video and will put them plus titles/header on the pic too. Not so handy if you want to grab a specific image from a video (Use Pauro's method)

alt (or button to the left of alt)+print screen button near the Num Lock light
that copies it to ure clipboard -open up and paste it into WORD/MS PAINT/PHOTOSHOP - whatever u like really
u can grab a specific frame on the screen or the entire viewable screen shot by switching button - alt for 1 little windows flag key for teh other

If you're running Windows XP, you probably have Windows Movie Maker installed, which will allow you to capture frames and save them as images.
