    In todays Advertiser-excellent article.Can't get it online yet but will do so asa.Cian o Connell has set new standards for sports journalism in Galway.You get excited reading the match reviews even though you we're there!

    Yeah great report and its nice to be recognised in a stand alone artricle. The colour was fantastic on a still night the maroon smoke lingered perfectly as the team came out. The confetti though a royal pain in the ass for the groundsman added a South American feel to the North pole temps!
    In honesty it was like a mini San Siro in Buckley Park last Sat. And they are not classed as flares I presume! Hope to see some pics I know 1 or 2 posters here had a camera any chance of posting them?

    well from gufc.ie:

    Fireworks, Flares, Smoke canisters, bottles, glasses, flagpoles and other similar articles or containers, including anything, which may be used as a weapon, are not permitted within the stadium.
