    Dundalk axe striker Hynes

First Division promotion hopefuls Dundalk have sacked striker Peter Hynes, citing “a breach of club discipline”. Apparently he gave Jonh Gilles telephone number to some Rovers players who rang him in the early hours of the morning saying "we're promoted ha ha!" etc.
He was also not meant to have the greatest attitude in general and reportedly missed the odd training session.
