Anyone else that attended the concert?


Just back from a long night (afterparty included), enjoyed it well. Maynard is a brilliant vocalist, his vocals are crystal clear and a relief compared with the screaming vocals of most metal vocalists (including that support act Mastodon ). Wings for Marie, The Pot, and Aenima were the highlights for me.

Must admit though, am mainly into A Perfect Circle. I got interested in Tool because of Maynard and did enjoy the concert and the Tool records I gave a try, but I still prefer APC. There's something mysterious and unique about them, and I do miss that a bit in Tool (as far as it's fair at all to compare the bands, they just happen to have the same vocalist but they're different bands alltogether). Anyway, I enjoyed my Tool experiences so far (both concert and recorded songs) but I do hope MJK gets A Perfect Circle back together after this tour, I really would love to hear Brena, 3 Libras, Orestes, Passive and The Hollow live.
