EVERYTHING is black and white
Thats just textbook................
Just an observation here lads, but you spend the season slagging off the players and saying how the junior leagues have much better quality - and now (wihen the season isn't even over) you are wondering about LFC players going to junior. Is the irony lost on you?![]()

If they are under contract it does not matter how many games they have played.Surely some of the younger guys are tied to contracts for a couple of years.
you have to remember that the players going back to junior have no loyalthy to LFC,these players were brought up by these junior clubs so why shouldn't they go back! If Limerick had a schoolboy/youth system, which is required by the licencing body, then players who have come through it would be less inclined to go back to junior football.![]()

would not be 100% but i imagine it would be the same for every EL team, the only reservation i would have would be with whatever local soccer body you were dealing with.
it could have been the LDMC who imposed the 5 game rule so in that respect it would differ from league to league
heard boyle is goin back to pike rovers
This rule only applies to LDMC![]()
Bit of a joke imo, Players that try their luck at LOI and don't succeed can't go and play Junior for a year, is not a good refection on the LDMC.
Any players out there in this situation are more than welcome out here in the Clare LeagueNEWTOWN FC
If you're in the penalty area and don't know what to do with the ball, put it in the net and we'll discuss the options later
FORM IS TEMPORARY, CLASS IS PERMANENT
The LDMC putting up barriers to players developing? Sure not!![]()

so are 21s players not in contract wit limerick free to leave today? for definate?
Any player signed during could leave at any time they wanted. also i dont think that 5 game rule as mentioned above is correct, i checked that tonight with an LDMC offical. All players are free to sign with any club they wish should the request a break in their contracts. Many a 21 player has returned to their junior or other clubs during the season
yes i know that but do they not have to get a release from the club before they sign with a junior club?
and thats what im saying, if a player no longer wants to play with Limerick all they have to do is call the relivent person and seek a release, its happened all the way through the season and im sure it will happen in the future. im sure the same applies to someone wanting to leave one junior club to move to senior or other junior club. Anyway if you want a player on limericks books to sign for ye just ask the player to go about getting a release and off ye go then
