    George collects another gong

    George O’Callaghan has won the September Jury’s Sports Star award. It is his second award in as many months, having picked up the eircom League Player Of The Month award for August.
    His is also the running for the Guinness Cork City September Player of the Month award. The winner will be announced at half-time in City's game against Drogheda United at Turner's Cross on Sunday (3pm).

    too right. still can't understand why there is so much hype about him. the man needs to knuckle down big time.

    At times George seems to be the only one shouting at his fellow players when their passing and play in general isn't good.
    Non City fans have talked about him rather than JOF when they look at City's new strike force.

    Yeah, he´s probably the most talented player in the squad IMO, but he doesn´t work hard enough. He spends to much time whinging at his teammates and not enough time pressurising opponents.
