Totally with Lim Til I Die on this one. There was a bare handful of people at the last meeting to elect officers and despite all the talk and good intentions people display here you could have the details of any forthcoming meeting written in the sky and advertised all over the city and county on the bodies of naked ladies and you'd still struggle to clear 30 people when you get right down to it.

I'll go to any meeting (I'm offering any Wednesday night as my preferred time) but I think that the mess of this season (coupled with the petty infighting that's blighted even this forum) won't result in hundreds of people suddenly clamouring to get involved.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

    help

you dont need a large bunch of people in fact you are better off with 5 -10 to get a clear vision and set about your strategy. You should look at the trust idea and its not another supporters club, read up about them real madrid, spurs, barcelona are organised as trusts. Northampton in the uk are probably the best example of loi clubs to look at. also charlton athletic have over 250,000 involved in the biggest community scheme in england if not the world and 15 years ago they were homeless and down to 3000 crowds, today they have 28000 at games. if you get a few guys to manage the media, with consistent messaging its amazing how the relationship develops, ronan at gufc has done a magnificent job in galway. a limerick team is essential to the wellbeing of the league, welcome help and start small

This is news to me, do tell who is this mole? and has there been something happening within the SC for anyone to know about cos as far as i know i dont think there has been any meetings etc this year. Jesus this could put the whole SC in doubt and hinder its "activities"
If and when the club goes it will be a sad day for all limerick supporters and sports fans. I wouldnt be worried about MOS being involved hes done well for limerick in the last few years, its another person comming about that id be looking at, and his side kick
