    u-21 team for tonight

Team: Murphy (West Bromwich Albion), Thompson (Nottingham Forest), Goodwin (Stockport County), Byrne (Sunderland), Tierney (Manchester United), Butler (Sunderland), Miller (Celtic), Reid (Nottingham Forest), Houlihan (Shelbourne), Barrett (Brighton and Hove Albion), Daly (Stockport County).

If Barrett & Butler are only to play 45 minutes looks very likely Hunt or O'Flynn with come off the bench at some stage.

Reckon JOFY should be on from the start. Yes, it may or may not be a step up in class, but, how's JOFY himself or anyone else for that matter supposed to find out with a 'maybe you'll play 45 minutes, maybe you won't'. That's an absolute joke, especially taking into account how badly Givens needs a couple of results at U-21 level.

    Murphy Out Now!!!

    Lightbulb

I'd say Hunt may be more likely to play ahead of O'Flynn now given (no pun intended) he scored for the u-21s v senior team on saturday i think & O'Flynn would only have arrived on for the squad on sunday...

Yeah, add tothat the fact that Hunt is in very good form right now, while O´Flynn appears to have gone off the boil a bit the last few games. It´s a positive if he plays, and hopefully he´ll make enough of an impression to get another call-up.

John O'Flynn came on for Andy Reid with 12 minutes left.
Hunt got the last 3 minutes

They threw away an awful game.

The last time at the Cross they threw away a 2 goal lead and were lucky to get a winner with 10 men.
We were not so lucky this time

Givens is a muppet anyway- has he ever actually won a game like? His record is appalling

    Thumbs up

    fai report

Good to see O'Flynn & Hunt become u-21 internationals & should add a few quid onto their transfer values.

I doubt Wes Houlihan will be at $hel$ for much longer with those u-21 performances he turning in.

john did ok when he came on, didnt have too many chances or touches for that matter

ireland defence was phish though and the rightback should be dropped asap

was very impressed with wes houlihan from $h€ls, thought he and miller had a great game for ireland in midfield

should never has lost a 2 goals lead though

also ...saw a lausanne sports flag..some of the BWFK mob are over
