Exclamation Cup Final live on TV!

    [fai.ie]

The FAI Carlsberg Senior Challenge Cup final will be broadcast live on RTE television on Sunday October 27 2002. The final, between Derry City and Shamrock Rovers kicks off at 3:00 pm.

If the game is drawn, RTE has also committed to showing the replay live on Sunday November 3 2002.
Maybe its too soon for tv3 but its almost disappointing RTE got it.

Hopefully it will all be over soon !!

Hopefully we will be rid of RTÉngerland soon, and we wont have to put up with their crap ever again.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I doubt if they will give it any real promotion. I mean we thought they were bad before but they seem to have got even worse since the FAI sold the international rights to Sky.
As face said, lets just hope we dont have to put up with their crap for much longer.

their "promotion" will probably consist of a reminder on the six-one news on saturday, maybe on news2 as well if we´re lucky. And coverage will start at 2:55, and end within 10 minutes of the final whistle.

Theyve already lost the rights to the eL. This will be they're last broadcast of a game between irish clubs for a long while

well at least the last one they 'broadcast'.
"I don’t want to tempt fate, but Thierry Henry is not having one of his best nights." - RTE co-commentator Jim Beglin, minutes before TH struck the stunning winner.
