Incidentally, Sully hasn't signed yet. It's expected to be confirmed shortly, but there's nothing official yet.

    Despite what the website says...

    From Irish Football Online:
    UCD add two to squad

UCD have confirmed the signings of full back Pat Sullivan and goalkeeper Matt Gregg.

Gregg joins from Bohemians and is seen as cover for goalkeeper Darren Quigley who is likely to be the subject of transfer speculation again the summer. Gregg has also played for Bray Wanderers.

Sullivan is rejoining the College after a spell with Drogheda United. He left Belfield after the 2004 season but was recently released by Drogheda.

The Tribune won't be publishing another issue until September. It'll depend on the new Sports editor and Pete.

Thanks for posting those dmand. He seems to have the freedom to be a lot more hard hitting in those pieces than either on TV or in the Programme. Which is good.

Only got my hands on Issue 2 now so won't bother scanning the article as it's from juts after the cup win in Derry and mainly Pete talking about the cup semi, basically saying similar stuff to what he said elsewhere. I'll put the whole thing up if anyone wants it. I have the one from issue 4 lying around somewhere so I'll put that up over the weekend.

Now, I think I'm kind of half-intelligent some of the time and half-stupid most of the time (irony I hope!), but when we have covered a total of 1980 km approximately during such a short period, where is the balance in that?

We didn't moan about it, we got on with it and there is great credit due to our players. A lot of people just look upon the so-called full-time clubs and they don't appreciate the kind of sacrafice our players make.

There is a perception out there that 'it is only UCD, they won't complain'. And we don't. But maybe we are contributing to our fate because we don't stand up. Can you imagine if if the same situation was to happen to some of the other clubs? They would be beating down the door of the FAI offices.

.....If we don't finish higher than we finished last year, I will be disappointed. We have proved that we have a team with potential that is constantly improving.

We have beaten the majority of the top sides this season, so if we could just bring that form with us for when we play the sides in and around us, then we could have achieved my target of fourth place and possibly even got into the Setanta Cup.

Now, the only real chance we have of that is if we win the FAI Cup, but I feel it is a realistic one.
