I was at the Everton game, but tickets were given to me by a season ticket holder.
Anyone know if it is possible to get tickets for Arsenal matches in their new stadium. It's for a mate's birthday, I've looked on their site but for almost all of the matches (except away in the Carling Cup) it looks like you have to be at least a "red member" (costs £30), and on top of that you can only get one ticket per membership.
Anyone else managed to get tickets for a match at their new stadium ?

Celtic Horizon Tours do great package deals and are offical agents for the Arse, try them..........
Great package deals? How much?

I wasn't really payinga ttention last night but it looked like Arsenal closed the whole middle tier for their CL game last night. Can any of you arsenal fans confirm? If so, whats the craic? Is it just that they didn't think they'd sell out for the CSKA match or is it for all CL games?

Didn't notice that and the attendance was 60,000 last night. That middle section is where alot of the corporate boxes and club level seats are and I've noticed doesn't fill till at least 5 mins into the game either side of half time. Bloody prawn sandwich or beer loving brigade most likely!

I'm absolutely loving the new system although getting in and out of Emirates (technology aside) still needs a bit of work. The system is a right pain for the touts who don't want to part with their cards in case they never see them again. God love them!
I'm not the trusting type so I don't give anyone my card for love nor money - (no offensive intended to what I'm sure is a genuine poster above). It stems back to a time we got burned by someone for match tickets we held. Thankfully revoking of ticketing rights wasn't in vogue back then. I even struggle to even hand it over to the aul lad these days. It's sad in a way but when you add up what's to lose over what's to gain from handing membership cards out, it's really not worth it especially if you've waited a long time to get on it, like at silver level.
£30 however, is great value for the red membership imo.....the membership packs with the dvds, books and collectibles over the last two years are worth more than what you shell out and of course you get those ticketing rights too.
As i said, i like the new system and defiently has brought a level of fairness to who gets tickets for what.
sorry I couldn't be more help.
