    Careful now.

I don't drive myself, but the impression I have from walking about here is that Cork would be pretty easy to get lost in (though you should find your way soon enough). Thought the traffic has been pretty good so far though.

About 15 minutes driving, maybe 20 max. I don't think there are any buses.

It's a busy service, so kids with bus passes aren't allowed to use it, unless they pay the fare of course.

How could it possibly be against the law?
Bus Eireann issue the tickets so they can dictate when they are valid or not. It's a bus service to the airport, kids have no business using it as a school bus.

If they've paid for a bus pass they have as much a right to use the service as anyone else who comes on and pays.

They get a bus pass to allow them travel to school on a certain route.

Bus Eireann have as much right to attach conditions to discounts like schoolkid tickets as any company.

But is it not discrimination against children? Why don't they banned people with adult bus passes from the buses during that time?

Flight arrives at 09:45, would there be a chance of us catching the 10:00 coach?

You'd be cutting it fine because you have to walk off the plane, through arrivals and down to the bus stop. Providing the flight is on time and you've no hand luggage, you might just make it.
I'm almost certain you can buy your ticket on the bus.

Are you staying somewhere in town?
The bus will bring you to Parnell Place. (Next to Merchants Quay)
