Could be premier league bound and coming off the back of an impressive Euro 2012 finals this time next year could Sean.

Really reliable guy for Ireland, best of luck to him.

Very good move for the Doc, I mean Sledge, Leicester do seem to be heading places.
Can only be good for us (even if I wouldn't have him in my first choice XI) the more players we have close to the top flights the better.
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!

Although inconsistent at club level, he has yet to have a bad game for Ireland and looks like he really enjoys wearing the great jersey. Hope his club career kicks on from here.

Is Lukas Jutkiewicz in the Coventry line-up up to much? He's eligible for us through his grandmother.

I think maybe he has found his level, seems to be in and out of that side a bit but did feature fairly regularly last season, I think he would have to deliver a much improved season to be on the radar but one I do keep half an eye on.

The other CB that Leicester signed in the summer, Mills, from Reading had been made captain, so that would suggest only one CB spot available in the side with a couple of them vying for it - lets hope he sticks a flag in it.

St Ledger didnt make the team for the Reading game today, maybe this is what happens when you play pesky meaningless friendlies for your country, you end up out of your club side and of no use to no one, maybe James Mc Carthy has it all figured out. Still, at least Leicester lost and one of the CB's seems to have had a good chasing and the other one is being linked with Blackburn, theres hope yet.

Meaningless for the likes of the McCarthys of this world, but not for players such as St Ledger who are proud to wear the green shirt.

The game was a good work out for the team ahead of the big qualifiers.

As for Leicester, maybe it was implied to St Ledger that he would start, when he signed and that someone hasnt kept their word.

Think St Ledger will be looking to move if he isnt playing 1st team football in the next few weeks as he wont let anything affect his International career

I think he will get in the side and stay there once he does. Mills cant play like that twice and stay in, surely, £5 million captain or not.

he wasnt in the team before last wed friendly either so your theory is rubbish.

It was a tongue in cheek comment, clearly tongue in cheek. Maintain your calm there, would you?

how on earth was anyone supposed to know it wasnt serious comment?
apologies for any offence but given the numerous posts here about our most recent friendly being meaninless i can hardly be blamed for thinking it was yet another of such posts

Sledge, I mean the Doc, you should know better than to be trusting anything that Sven Goran Eriksson tells you anyway, he's lied his way into many a woman's knickers. The dirty old b*****d.

Would that be a first? 2 Transfers in the one transfer window?
