If you search @dipset12 you get all messages sent to Sean.

    http://twitter.com/search?q=@dipset12

    and his responses are

    http://twitter.com/dipset12

If he was using it right, he'd use @annacaradice to respond to a person. Is it just me or does seeing someone use text speak like that really change your opinion of someone as a person? I know Twitter is only 140 characters but it doesn't hurt to write when instead of wen every so often.

Call me a snob, but I just try and avoid twitter as it seems to bring out the worst in people....it's almost as if using the thing makes you retarded.

Checked out a couple of my other sports heroes on there a few months ago...wish I hadn't.

Is St Ledger good enough to fill the defensive void for Ireland? He definitely is playing above himself for Ireland I think. Not that I'm complaining - as long as he's playing well, I don't mind if he's a Championship player.

He's a good young player entering the prime of his career. He'll be promoted with Boro either this year or next, and I'd anticipate he will play the next 5 years at the top level.

He's good off set-pieces, and he's a good footballing centre-half. In my opinion he's the perfect foil for Dunne.

Okay, he wasn't tight enough to his man against Italy, and that probably cost us a win, but remember, he was the one who scored the goal to put us ahead!

I'm happy enough with him starting for the playoffs.

Is he contractually committed to Boro in Jan or can someone nip in when his loan move from Preston is up... Played very well last night.
I pity the fool!.... But suggest ways that he might improve himself.

Think Sean St Ledger has been amazing for us. He definitely deserves to play in the Premiership.

He was beyond incredible last night. Has ALWAYS stepped it up when he's had to. This lad has a long Premiership career ahead of him. Everton should nip in there. He'll be far better than Lescott ever was.

Very impressed with the lad last night and since he has made his breakthrough to the team, although clearly benefits from having Dunne alongside. Gave away a silly free which lead to the goal but thats just been petty.

Hoping he will continue his upward progress over the next few years.

An idiotic comment at the bottom of that news story. Middlesbrough's decline co-incides exactly with Southgate being sacked and Strachan taking over. But sure, blame it on St. Ledger.

I've also heard that Celtic have been monitoring all this and are interested in getting him on a 6 month loan deal.

I wouldn't rule out a surprise bid from Everton too!

To be honest i do not rate Strachan as a top level manager. He seems to make a habit out of falling out with one or two "victims" which might work if they were the right "victims" but Strachan seems unable to pick the correct "victims"

St Ledger has done very well for all his other managers bar Strachan.
