He's not in the squad - invited to train only - its a disgrace !!!

Appears now John O'Flynn is also down as stand-by for the u-21's. Think hes essentially the cover if any of the forwards pullout.
From stockport iste:
Since Burgess is a forward & looks unlikely he be fit by next week then i'm predicting O'Flynn will get full callup to u-21 squad.Burgess has been out injured since suffering a knee injury in the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Cardiff City on Saturday 14th October. It is expected that Ben won't be back in action for County until next week at the earliest although his return would only have been with the reserve team and not County's first team.
Should increase his valuation a bit if he gets a cap.
today that he was called up last night and is in the squad.![]()
...well almost.
FAI.ie
So leaves squad like...Gary Dempsey (Dunfermline) and goalkeeper Graham Stack (Beveren) have pulled out because of injury and are replaced by Cork City striker John O'Flynn and Barry Roche of Nottingham Forest. O'Flynn was named on stand-by on Monday.
Murphy (West Bromwich Albion), Barry Roche (Nottingham Forest)
McGuinness (Bohemians), Goodwin (Stockport), Byrne (Sunderland), Tierney (Manchester United),
Butler (Sunderland), Miller (Celtic), Doyle (Celtic), Mattis (Huddersfield), Reid (Nottingham Forest), Houlihan (Shelbourne), Paisley (Manchester City).
Barrett (Brighton), Burgess (Stockport), Daly (Stockport), O'Flynn (Cork City).
Is kewl that he gets a call-up. Promotion for the club as well, but I hope it doesn't affect his club form.
