Gunther veteran of two final defeats

"I'm a vetern of 2 Final defeats and a Semi-Final loss" - quote from Gunther at the weekend when questioned about the up and coming game against Derry.

I don't know about you, but he frightens the $**te out of me, if this is his way of "motivating" the team.

He was probably also a Vetern of some Napalm bombing in Vietnam that had some crazed effect on his senses.

    Motivate man, motivate.
Stop talking about defeats and losses. You wouldn't hear Dolan, Ferguson, Venables, McCarthy ( Ha Ha.. I threw the last one in there for a laugh .... spot the deliberate error ) talking like that just before a Semi-Final.

i know ill be hung for this but the armagh manager motivated his players in the semi final and final by bringing in his jersey and runners up medal and tellying them that thats all theyll have if they dont win it!
soccer isn't a matter of life or death its more important than that!!!

Jayso we aren't even out of the semi yet, and Derry are playing well so I wouldn't worry about the runners up just yet
    It's only just begun...............
If the last 21 years were class, here's looking forward to the next 21 years. It is our time

So F***IN what? Soccer's a funny old game and **** happens. He's got to be one of the biggest gob*****s of a manager EVER. Can ANYONE remember the last time we won a match BECAUSE of, rather than IN SPITE of, Gunther?

    Murphy Out Now!!!
