Firstly I would never give out about a player who misses a penalty (unless he does it again & again). John O'Flynn had the guts to take it in front of nearly 8000 people who expected a goal. But the problem is that our best chance - one of only a few shots on target in the whole game - came about half way through the second half from a penalty. I'd say Devine had more to do last night than Gough.
Billy Woods didn't look right at all. Did he get a knock before the game or during it?
Hoggie was thrown straight in after missing 6 games or so.
Just to make it even more painfull, in less than a month (since we beat Shams), we have gone from second in the league by 2 points with a game in hand and looking forward to a cup semi to third by 11 points with a game in hand and out of the cup. Our season is in the gutter.
