Rovers lose appeal

Shamrock Rovers have lost their appeal. They were attempting to get 3 points reinstated that were deducted for playing a supposedly suspended player.
Rovers are level on points with united with a game in hand. They have a far superior goal difference so they would need to drop 4 points in 5 games if we are going to catch them.
I hope they win their cup semi final this weekend and take their eye off the league.

your right about the cup - its a pity we have to go wishing for others to mess up - but thats all that is left to us now...

i assumed they would get the points back being the massive club that they are

.we still need them to drop points in the next game or 2 and lose away to cobh on the final day too,the latter might happen,the former is less likely.
