    Old Ireland Shirts

Anyone know of any sites that have old Ireland shirts for sale or pics of the shirts?
I especially looking for the 1990 or 1988 ireland shirt (home or away)

    Cheers,

I have home and away jerseys from 93 with the number 5 on the back with no sponsorship on them. Do they get decent prices? I might be tempted to sell one if they did.

Most likely they are player worn or player issued shirts. and they will defo go for over 100 bucks....As i say emmet knows alot more than me but if ye wanna pm me or him a picture we can probably let you know a bit about the shirts if ye dont already know yourself...

They're players shirts alright but how much they'd go for would depend on whether they were long-sleeved or short-sleeved (there were no long-sleeved replicas made so the long-sleeved match shirts go for more), if it has been signed or not and if you have any details of each shirt's history. £100 Stg would be a good benchmark but those factors would influence its price to a small extent I reckon.

I did realise you were a collector yourself onenilgameover - it's always nice to meet new collectors! Have you got many shirts yourself?

emmet - super dave, Is the market for collectible shirts only for official, match worn shirts? - are you guys interested (or know of anyone) that would like to swap shirts? I collect football shirts - have about 120 of them - mostly english clubs between 1990 - 2005, but some other european ones as well...

    regards,

I don't really collect the replica shirts so I can't give too much specific information. I do know in general that condition is important and that size matters (no jokes there please!) ... good condition shirts in a size that can be worn (ie L or XL) will sell for more. Long-sleeved shirts tend to go for more too. Like I said though I don't go in for replicas so I can't be absolutely certain!
