    Less 24 hours to go....!

    OK.
Less than 24 hours to go. I don't know about the rest of you but in 15 years following City I haven't looked forward to a game as muchas I have this one.

Maybe it's the result of the night we had against Rovers a few weeks ago or something.

One thing I feel, is that I believe tomorrow night's game could be won ( certainly influenced ) by us on the terraces. A draw is as useful to us as an ashtray on a motorbike. So we need to finish it off by 10.30 pm.

In the game against the Knackers from Milltown I turned to a mate when we were 2-0 down ( it was his first game .... he's from Mayo .... God love him ) and I said "if we score 1 we'll win go on to win the game"... the atmosphere was that good. You could almost reach out and touch it.

So, more of the same tomorrow night. Don't be afraid to mortify yourself every now and again. Let's create our own unique welcome for our guests from the north. Remember Geoghan's comments last week....... we ceratinly got to him in the first game of the season.

Finish it tomorrow night City, please...... give me a wekend in Duuuubleeen ........ 'cause I hate Jazzzzzzzz.

    Thumbs up sell out

    from Citynet last night:

    03.10.2002 | General News
    Sell-out
Earlier this evening, there were only 200 tickets left for tomorrow night's FAI Cup Semi-Final against Derry City (Turner's Cross, 7.45pm). 7,000 tickets for the match went on sale just over a week ago. Any remaining tickets will be sold before kick-off outside the ground at €10. Gates, on both the Curragh Road and the St. Anne's End, will open at 6.30pm. The match sponsor was recently confirmed as being Ulster Bank.
The club will be fined if fans go on to the pitch tomorrow, so please refrain from doing so. Fans are also advised that cars parked in the area of Curragh Road, Mercier Park and beside the Horseshoe are liable to be towed away if illegally parked. Other arrangements for the game were posted here.
