Well as you might of guessed the rest is history. Dalymount was well cut up day and it never stopped raining, directly the opposite I was told when we got home to Sligo. Stenson was nearly out of the camera angle when he scored the leveller and as the commentator said of Harry's classic "its a goal worthy to win a cup final"
A lot of memories from that one. Stenny was nearly off injured as well. Half-time, lashing rain, riots on the terraces, beaten on the field. Foxy with the free-kick (?), Andy Elliot's dummy and Stenny, almost falling over, burying the equaliser.
Harry's winner, Oakley's incredible full-stretch save, and mudbath celebrations. Those of us who were there will miss Dalymount.
