Henchoz is one of the best central defenders around and he never gets credit for it. Besides him, i think the swiss are pretty weak, but getting past him will not be easy.
Anyone see Henchoz last night for Liverpool against Spartak Moscow? He was absolutely MAGIC and he wasn't even fully fit!!! I reckon Ireland will have a VERY hard job beating Switzerland on the 16th especially after the shambles that was Moscow.

I suppose we'll be playing Duff up front as usual and he'll be competing for the high balls with Henhoz.![]()
no doubt about itOriginally posted by brine2

Agreed, Henchoz is absolute class. Reckon you've read the Swiss wrong, they'll be no pushovers home or away. Besides, after the shambles in Moscow, the Swiss will rightly fancy their chances of beating us. Might just turn out to be the toughest game of the campaign for us, and it could be a major turning point.Originally posted by Éanna

Henchoz out for the game apparently.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
Well, I hope to Jesus you're right, Schumi. It would make our job a hell of alot easier and it would be an absolute killer blow for the Swiss.Originally posted by Schumi

You sure about that? With all the high balls, either Henchoz would've destroyed Duff or he'd had to have looked for the ball in midfield and then try to run at the Swiss defence.
