Lads

Does anyone have a pitch that Newmarket Celtic could borrow for 2 hours on Sunday until we get Pike Rovers out of our way. As ye are aware our home gound is been developed and the field we are using is needed for a Gymkhana on Sunday .

sure i was told yesterday that the grass was being cut on your temporary pitch (by the sheep

), getting it ready for sunday's match.
no better description as highlighted above

would ye not consider opening your new pitch on sunday for that game

Hardly and destroy 2 years work for a handy run out

Also had to move the sheep they were getting stuck in the mud and its lambing season and the stress which being stuck in the mud could cause them to abort. Do you know anything about sheep farming

well first .. good win by pike on sunday i only caught second half .. from what i saw they were a very good team .. strong all over the pitch ..

carrick beat the crystal 1-0 i think. watson was sent off after only a couple of minutes...no dount the carrick lads had him wound up tight

Didn't see it myself , sick all weekend, result not unexpected but a bit more football recently wouldn't have gone astray for Newmarket I beleive. You can train as hard as you like but its regular matches that make the difference.

Decent footballing side, they have some potent attacking players in their side that will cause ye plenty of problems.

Their defence is fairly poor though, two full backs were terrible when i saw them play this season and their two center backs are good in the air but like the full backs their very sluggish.

If you've got good wingers and a fast forward ye'll cause them problems, their pich is very big and has a good surface so if ye pass the ball around and keep their defenders running ye have a goood chance of getting a result!

Peake Villa beat Ferrybank 1-0 in the 4th round today in thurles. should have been more had the reff done his job right. the ferrybank keeper handled the ball outside his area preventing a villa goal and only got a yellow 4 it. its great the way local reffs give you those decisions that could go either way. sence the carcasim
