Was just about to start a betting thread![]()
I'm going with:
Cork to win
Pats to win
Shels to win
Waterford United v Longford Town to draw
Galway United v Dundalk to draw
Derry City v Drogheda Utd to draw
Shamrock Rovers to win
3 = 491.97
Also might go with Shels, Rovers, Linfield, Glens, Ports![]()

Im goin for favs this weekend:
St Pats 8/15
Shels 4/6
Cork 8/15
Derry 8/11
Shamrock Rovers 4/11
10 returns about 90.
Out of the five selections i think Derry are the bogey, as they are missing a few players. But since its on the box i put them in.
I can see UCD running Shels close
69% of UCD games are under 2.5 goals
9 of those games have been against the Top 4 clubs in the league table
Colin Hawkins is replaced by Jamie Harris in the Shels defence
0-0
ucd +1
and under 2.5 goals are all good shouts here
======================================
Pats have one eye on the cup semi and will be distracted enough to draw or lose to Bray. They also rest several players tonight - Pats will want to get out of this injury free.
======================================
Drogs may run Derry close as well. The sligo 4-0 can be totally disregarded in any estimation of Derry's current form - Sligo didnt start a few regulars and didnt want to reveal their hand before the cup semi meeting of the same pair Derry also have players out - notably Ken "the Sultan" of Oman a rock in their defence and great from set pieces. Drogs season was ironically re ignited by winning in Derry last time out so they will battle hard - cant be more than a goal in this either way. Drogs+1 the value!
======================================
Cork should dispose of Sligo (again one eye on the cup - no motivation to do it in the league)
======================================
Waterford v Longford
no bet here
Derry HT/FT is the bet, 9/5 gimme gimme gimme
ONE CITY, ONE TEAM.
Oman, Higgins, McCourt, Brennan, Molloy, Beckett and McHugh are either suspended or injured.
Drog Day Afternoon!![]()
Cork City, Shelbourne, Galway United, Finn Harps and Shamrock Rovers all to win @ just over 14/1
