How long were you in the pub when this happened
bit of randomness. watching Spurs game down the pub last night on Five (dodgy channel available only for UK). Colin Murray, Tim Sherwood and Pat Nevin were all in the studio. Murray wearing white shirt, Nevin with a stripey shirted number and Sherwood in black cardie and tie. By the end of the game, Murray was in the stripey shirt, Nevin donned the ill fitting cardie and Sherwood was in Murray’s original white shirt. Anyone else notice this or am i going insane. Is there an after match shirt swapping culture between commentators as well as footballers? we should be told....

Whatever about tv moments, the strangest radio moment in recent times has to be Gabrielle Egan having to use his mobile phone to commentate on the last few penalties of the Drogheda v Start match a few months back. Typical rte professionalism, couldn't even broadcast a match from a few miles up the road.

I heard Bill O Herlihy say Barcelona will always be able to get it up for the big matches last Wednesday which raised a schoolboy laugh out of me.
