Colour and atmosphere for the semi!

lads,lassies....any ideas of ways we could get as much color and an atmosphere for the big game as possible...i.e ballons, banners, whatever! maybe get some face painters for the children and wigs and all that!?
ideas anyone........

Upgrade the speakers and use the soundsystem to get it going..

We could also get the annoncer to tell us when the sides are about to come out so we can organise a certain song to be sung like in Anfield which is impressive.

We need a thread with songs compiled, and maybe print outs to be circulated around.

If we wanted to make a first in Irish Football, we could print out sheets and leave them on the seats in the main stand and get everyone to lift them up when the players come out and it say something.

I suspect this would cost a few quid and would take alot of organisation.

Load speaker in the shed wouldnt work,but might in the main stand.

lads where is everyone going for the game?im usually in the blue stand but obviously that won't be an option now if the derry fans are taking it over.i really hate the thoughts of going into that main stand...its just too quiet!i wouldn't be against going into the shed but i know there are prob some people in there that wouldn't appreciate new faces in it.

Iv been goen 2 de shed for de past 3 years nd iv seen loads of people come nd go from de shed! De have no problem wit people coming into de shed as far as der concerned it makes it a bit louder if u sing!

shed'll be packed/electric.
they've no problems with new faces as long as they sing to their songs.
the shedheads won't sing to our songs tho!

The same concept could go for the main stand.

In fact, it's crucial. Instead of saying "I'm not going to the main stand because there's no atmosphere" some of us should definitely go there and make sure there is an atmosphere. Like it or not, it's going to unavoidably be the largest single block of Rovers fans on the ground. We absolutely can't allow that block to be quiet.
We know the Shed will make plenty of noise - what we need now is at least two good groups of provocateurs, one at the railway end and one or two in the main stand, to get everyone else going.
