Exclamation Brace Yourself!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this, but up in Longford our goalies were wearing a lovely new pastel blue strip.

The good news is that's the away kit

The bad news is the home one is all yellow

Lightbulb

Think Mick was wearing a dull grey for the season before longford - i dunno about the "pastel blue" or would that be a (more masculine) sky blue but he could do with a brighter colour than grey so Gaz & the other defenders might actually be able to see him?

no no no no! Thats the point. In the grey he was a "stealth goalkeeper" and the oppostion couldn´t see him- thus explaining his amazing leaps from nowhere to tip the ball over the bar

It actually grew on me through out the Shels match, although I did have a minor stroke when I saw it first. Its a bit like a Coventry shirt.
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
