Was he not responding to the Belfast car mogul's use of the word "selective"? It's hard to tell sometimes who he's arguing with and why.
Such sophistry. I wasn't being "equally selective" at all as, unlike you, I wasn't arbitrarily excluding certain games from consideration just because they weren't convenient to an agenda I was trying to push. I'm not setting any limits as to what can and cannot be considered here - rather, I was putting forth evidence contrary to your claims - and I'm certainly not trying to push any agenda. I don't particularly like Henry; I just think you're making a really odd argument. Henry's record speaks for itself, even if he had some poor games. It's world-class. I've never denied he might have had some poor games. Every world-class player will. And why exclude the Confederations Cup and group stage to semi-final performances from a proper, all-round international judgment of Henry if you're going to rely solely on qualifying and rare group stage games (plus one second round game and one quarter final) in your international judgment of someone like Shevchenko? Why the double standard? Where's the consistency in your argument?
And, as Stutts says, I wasn't doubting Totti's ability either; I was simply interested in hearing why you suspected he was a victim of some politically-motivated prejudice.

Keane in the running for MVP for the season: http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/articl...ied-whether-he
Two more goals for Robbie last night, second one is a belter: http://youtu.be/_lzipE8P7aI
First one was decent too.
It'd be nice if we were able to get the opposition stretched like LA were able to do. Usually Ireland play the ball too slowly and allow defences time to get organised, which makes Robbie less potent.
vote Keane's volley as goal of the week here: http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/articl...l-week-week-30
That'd be some craic if a goal that was 'shinned' into the net won goal of the week.

Someone did a naughty Wiki edit...

That's a ridiculous claim and whoever edited that clearly hasn't a clue what they're talking about. Growing up, Robbie supported at least twice as many clubs as that!
Could catch Ali Deai today
Moves beyond Ronaldo and Kuwait's Jassem Al-Houwaidi into joint 14th in the all-time international goal-scorers list.
A few more to be had if he plays the return too.
Level on 65 with Drogba. Three behind Gerd Mueller and Hossam Hassan, who I think played against us in the 1990 World Cup.
He's a national treasure.

Jesus Christ. It begins.
If I was O'Shea I would concentrate on my own job instead of furthering Keane's case and taking silly potshots at people who have the temerity to suggest he not automatically start. He got twisted and turned several f'ing times by the Gibraltarians as soon as they put him under any kind of pressure. Priorities like.
He's also a Zen master.
"............I never think about what’s happened before, I never think about what’s going to happen in the future because I can’t predict what’s going to happen in the future. The past is the past, I scored those goals, but I’m so focused on what I’m doing now that I’m not really interested in anybody else to be honest.”
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
If he manages to overtake Klose that would be some achievement. Being the second highest ever scorer from Europe behind Puskas is not to be sniffed at.
But it is Robbie so plenty will sniff.
