Condex was shamed into retirement shortly there after. I wonder which lad at Sundy he is referring to.

My guess would be Stephen Elliott who started his career brightly in the championship with Sunderland, on the basis of the post's timing.

EDIT: checked it there, Elliott made his debut about a month after that post. So he did get his chance.

90 minutes for Keane tonight in a 3-1 win at home against the Portland Timbers. He provided the assist for Landon Donovan's equaliser in the first half and spent most of the game playing wide left.

Keane with the assist for the Donovan's winner yesterday against Colorado Rapids - http://www.lagalaxy.com/match-reports/2012-04-21
Video is small on the match report page, but is really good quality when you make it full screen

Was he signalling to the goalie to dive to the left?

They were up 2-1 in injury time, the other players would have been the same only they had a bit of defending to do.

Missed penalty by Robbie early in the second half against FC Dallas tonight. He doesn't miss many but he actually put this one wide.

The descriptive american commentary is so much better to listen to than than the hysterical "orgasming at my own voice" British style on Sky etc.

I think I'll give it a watch. 3 goals in 8 games so far this season from Keane - not inspiring stuff but then again LA Galaxy are playing badly so maybe tonight things will pick up and he can grab a goal or two. I really hope we get confident Robbie in Poland.

Galaxy 1-0 down after 10 minutes thanks to some Leinster Senior League defending. Keane starts up front with Donovan.

Keane gets a special mention in Obamas speech at 1.20.

Worryingly has not scored in 6 consecutive games.
