Does anyone remember the pop up cards they gave out in boxes of Corn Flakes before USA '94? Best memory from childhood.

Yeah I think Romania pipped em at the death. The Danes were the only 2nd placed Europeans not to qualify. I'm sure winning the European Championship two years later made up for it, even though they didn't qualify for that either.

Robbie Keane scored two goals against Denmark in a friendly before...

Yep , nearly sure it was Esso Petrol who supplied them. Remember Brian Clough did the add for the world cup 90 binder!!

    I sure do, quality.

Memories flooding back, anyone remember the coin collection Centra put out in 1994. I still have it somewhere, got all the coins, one for each player.

Another very quiet performance today unfortunately. Subbed just after the hour mark again. Hopefully he has done enough to get dropped next weekend when Defoe is back. A two week break before the playoffs might be just what he needs.

Poor enough. He was deployed on the left of a five-man midfield in the first half and looked lost, but didn't look sharp even when moved into the centre. Taken off near the hour-mark. Hope he's saving himself for the playoffs...

Like a few other members of our squad - should probably learn to choose his words more carefully prior to big games. France certainly don't need to be told "we can take them"
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?

Yeh, just saw that. He didn't look injured coming off. Any updates on that?

He was definitely injured. Gallas took him out right when he took a shot from the left hand side of the box. I was very very worried especially when he subbed off five minutes later.

I did think he was limping just before he was substituted, but it didn't look serious

Hmm so a French player, who is managed by a French manager, takes out an Irish player. Convenient.

I thought he might have got a knock alright. Papers this morning said he should have scored twice when put in by Crouch flicks but I think that's harsh. Song madea great tackle on him to stop a certain goal, and Robbie showed a lot of skill to get into the position.

It didn't look like a bad knock - surely he'll be OK in 2 weeks.

Spurs aren't playing again until next weekend VS Sunderland, I expect he'll be fine by then. He was limping, but looked more uncomfortable than anything else.

Robbie played a game for us only a couple of days after his father died, I think he would play on crutches in these games if he had to.

Just scored a bundled in goal. Got into a great position to score.Thankfully this happened just after he was brutally hacked down by Bardsley. Not injured thank god.
