Hat trick for Robbie today against Burnley. Good to have him build up his confidence ahead of our two big qualifiers.

Delighted for Robbie - he's been getting a lot of grief in the English press so glad to see him remind them all how good he is.

    LOL 4!!!!

Looks like he has used up the first half of the seasons quota in one game!!!

That must be some sort of record?

he badly needed that, Crouch was knocking on his door, surprised he even got the start to be honest.

"I've never had more problems picking a team.

"To leave Peter Crouch out after his hat-trick in midweek wasn't easy but I went with the two little ones and their movement was fantastic.

"With their big centre-halves I thought we would give them more problems than with a big man up there. That was a key factor.

"Robbie is important, he's one of the few voices we have in the dressing room. He's a great player, has been for years, and he takes his chances so well."

Looks like Crouch will have moved back to knocking on Defoe's door now.

Its great that Keane has such competition for his place at spurs at the moment, he looks really sharp and it can only benefit Ireland.

watch the Spurs fan who reviews Tottenahm games in the Observer (Sunday paper in the UK) give Keane a 5 out of 10 after bagging four goals. Looking forward to watching the goals tonight on MOTD.

First ever time he has scored 4 goals in professional football as far as he knows anyway. BBC reporter asked him did he ever score four in kids football. As far as I know I think Robbie used to regulary score hatfuls of goals in underage football in Dublin.

Only 14 other players have scored more than 3 goals in the history of the premier league. There where a few nice finishes in there tonight

    Highlights here.
Well taken goals by Robbie, especially his second.
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

Wow. I'll try again. I wouldn't wish for any player to return to play for us and apologise after being so disrespectful... Except Steven Ireland .

I think Crouch and Keane will prove very successful.
I pity the fool!.... But suggest ways that he might improve himself.

Doc, are you the 7th son of a 7th son?

Don't waste your power on that Defoe /SI nonsense, focus on South Africa and whatever it takes.

Robbie Keane to Celtic rumours not going away... apparently will move there in January.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Would be an awful move, he's far too god to waste seasons playing for that shower.

With the advent of the transfer window journalists make up possible moves when it is closed just to have something to say.

Robbie Keane>Irish>Celtic. Thats how they give some of these rumours credence.

Celtic do not have the money to buy Robbie or to pay his wages.

That kind of makes that a difficult deal.
