defo, i remember all of them! my favourites been goal v germany in WC, v france in paris, v italy in bari and his two v holland. the header in the qualifer was a great build up(we should have won that game!!), and his cracker in the friendly when we won 1-0. hes a total legend.

The euphoria of Ibaraki was amazing and will stay with me for the rest of my life, but I really liked his opener against Yugoslavia. Good cross, flick on by Quinn and a running volley at the back post by Keane. I think!

Amsterdam '04 was probably the most "TV friendly".

ya the goal v germany was some feeling, from the total sickening feeling of a 1-0 loss(we would have been robbed) to mayhem when keano scored. brilliant!! remember the yugoslavia goal alright, great flick on by quinn with his head.

Goal #4 — "[...] but an absent-minded second half allowed the Macedonians to get back into the match". This match was against Malta. "An absent-minded second half allowed the Maltesers to get back into the match"?

Great work on that by the way!!
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Ha, one of my all-time favourite moments in football is Mick McCarthy's facial reaction to Keane's goal against Germany.

I hate the way football has become Coronation Street these days. What ever happened to the good old days when people didn't give a sh*t about what a player does in his private life.

Some of footballs story-lines aren't appropriate for TV before 9pm tho

The message on that link is a nasty lie I'd imagine

Rednapp now downplaying a Keane move, apparently:

"In his latest interview, Harry Redknapp spoke about the possibility of hanging on to Robbie Keane... 'I've said many times that Robbie's a great professional, a great character and a great lad,'

'He's still a good player so let's see what happens. 'If he doesn't go he'll be here and start on level terms with the rest of the players so it's up to him then to get in the team. 'If somebody wants to buy him and he feels he wants to move on then it's great for everybody but we'll wait and see.'

No, this is not from last year. Rednapp is just repeaing himself. Blackburn's 2 million pound bid wasn't up to their valuation. Maybe they think they might as well keep him as backup if that's the money he is worth?

Tottenhams stock has fallen in the past year with their failure to re-qualify for the champions league and the re-emergence of Liverpool and continued growth of Man City doesn't give them much prospect to get back into it either. Up front is their great weakness and harry has tried and tried to capture a top striker from the likes of huntelaar and Forlan but failed in all of them. Crouch, Pavel and Defoe are all mid-table quality players not suited for a side with european ambitions. Redknapp probably knows Keane isn't good enough anymore for that spot either but given their transfer failings, a has-been Robbie Keane is still possibly better than the alternatives they already have.
