missed 2 great chances and waved his arms about a lot. He can be so infuriating to watch.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

    Nice goal by Robbie here.
It's at the 1.51 mark. Couple of nice assists too.
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

    Despite his missed chances at the weekend he played really well and again last night his link up play was top class, 2 assits & a goal really showed that he is back in form;
On a side note Caleb Folan played well last night, gave Bassong a torrid time.

Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

True but I thought he was generally quite poor, set piece delivery aside.

    Cheers

ps. It’s at 1.47. Great game form Robbie, as always when he is in the right role.

I don't like Defoe as a player... He's a hungry ****. He'd never dream about teeing up another player..
I pity the fool!.... But suggest ways that he might improve himself.

I think Robbie Keane would be better suited to a midfield role, he has the power and presence and skill to be a great midfielder. I would put stephen hunt along side him and aiden mcgeady and duff. I would put clinton up front and kevin doyle.

but unfortunately this will never happen and unfortunately we will not be in the world cup. no way man, not with the side the way it is.

Im glad we have Trap picking the team and not you so... if we are so bad and have so little chance of qualifying how have we managed got get ourselves into such a great position in the group with only a few games left
    Its really not that complicated!!!

Agreed, but that selfishness is what makes Defoe a good striker.

Wow are you serious? That midfield might even be worse than the one Stan put out against Cyprus in that infamous game. I dount Hunt would be as effective in a more central role, Keane can't really tackle, the midfield would have no height and Clinton and Doyle are too similar IMO.

thankfully it will never happen. A bizarre midfield if ever there was one. Maybe ot looks good on championship manager.

    Let me get this right?

    Duff---Keane---S.Hunt---McGeady

    ------Morrison------Doyle--------

Sorry but I had to see it written down to believe it

    It's Championship Manager gone MMMMMMMAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDD
We could also try Andy reid at left back with Keogh at Right back just to get the balance right
