    Robbie not going anywhere, apparently.
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

Rafa out i think is keanes best chance at pool at this stage.
Pool's best chance as well. Rafa's a bottler and a waffler!

Alonso is great, but why Lucas? He fouls constantly and causes mahem. I cant see how liverpool can win the league, with the likes of Aurelio, Arbeloa, Lucas, and Ngog floating around and even playing so often. they all make crazy mistakes regularly.

Dont know if anyone has mentioned this, but to me Gerrard's situation has not helped things at the club. He's done brilliantly since, but its the sort of thing will catch up with you, and to me last night was that moment. Torres is knackered too. Keanes situation, and Benitez' bizarre use of useless players....never mind his arguments with the owners....

Madness; Keane & Defoe can't play together, we've been down that road before, it's why Defoe left in the first place....
Madness I tell you, buy a bloody left winger, we've been waiting since Duff turned us down for his 30 pieces of silver at Newcastle, Since Ginola swagerred off into the sunset, Since Chrissy Waddle went to Marseille to almost win the European Cup, Since Tony Galvin was marauding down the touch line mumbling in Russian with his head down and his socks around his ankles.....if I'm to be guilty of repeating myself, stop pi$$ing about with midget strikers and buy a bloody left winger.....and breathe...Strangely I feel better now!

Word going around the Liverpool forums that Keane is not even in the squad to face Chelsea tomorrow. If true, surely his Liverpool career is over?

Why spend 20 million on someone who will be left on the bench ?

Unless Benitez has a long, hard think on what he's doing with Keane, I reckon he'll move back to spurs. Atleast he'll be treated there properly, Benitez is treating Keane like sh!te.

Defoe is out for 10 weeks with a metatarsal injury. Maybe Keane has been left out because of an imminent departure. Very unlikely though, unfortunately.

Keane back to Spurs for 15 mill according to the Mail.
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...y-Benitez.html

Radio 5 are quoting Benitez directly as saying "the Club spent 20 million on Keane". Not good. And Keane is definetely not in the squad for the Chelsea game.

Does Premier League rules not state that you cannot return to your previous club within 12 months - rule L19?

Wonder if its more than speculation? It's said he didn't train today.
He did train today, I can guarantee you that but he isnt in the squad tomorrow. He has been treated disgracefully by Rafa Benitez who has used him as a pawn in his battle with the owners and Parry in particular. Also, he did want Keane, contrary to any paper talk tomorrow. Unfortunately, he only wanted him if he got Barry as well. Since he didnt get Barry, he has turned on Keane. Also, if he got Barry, he wanted rid of Alonso. Thats where the transfer speculation surrounding Xabi came from in the summer.

Thats the long and short of it, folks.

LFC is in a sorry, sorry state at the moment. All those involved in the off field antics care about 'No. 1' above the club. Shame to see such an amazing club in such a mess.

    Fair point with Chimbonda.

Rule L19 states "A Club which transfers or cancels the registration of a Player may not apply to register that Player within a year except with the prior written consent of the Board."

The regulations are more concerned with preventing the loan system being abused and if the Prem. League and the clubs are happy enough then i suppose Robbie can get away from the lunatic Benitez.

As long as Robbie is happy, i'm happy & hopefully a couple against Georgia will help bed him into his new club...if it happens...if its allowed.

It's Raffa that we should be getting rid off, not Robbie. The man has lost the plot and to give him a new contract at this stage is insanity. Over the next three weeks we could easily be out of the FA Cup, Champions League and out of the title race as well. Torres is still lacking form and fitness, God knows what will happen to Gerrard vis-a-vis his Court case, Kuyt is completely useless, yet Raffa is getting rid of a proven quality striker to make a point. Thank God he didn't get his way over selling Alonso. his transfer and selection policy is incomprehensible. (Dossena!!, Lucas!!!!!!, Degen!!!!!!!!!!!!!) End this madness now!
