does he use his head .....when the keeper spilled the ball and held inside the penalty box keane shouldve kicked it from under his hand and scored....
now would the ref have given it?
but keane was too busy claiming handball outside area...
That was a long time ago in a more attacking team.
He has a good record against Manchester so could score this Saturday but Darly Murphy suits Trap's system better. I would play Murphy instead of Doyle or Keane but Traps the man and with or without Keane I think he will just about guide us to Africa

what a load of absolute nonsense. the gk had it under control with his hand and to kick it out of his hand as you suggest would be a free against robbie. should we try all kinds of things against the rules just to see if the ref turns a blind eye to any indescretion and award the goal?
you are clutching at straws with that one

I guess Benetiz had the last laugh after Fergies comments about Keane not being worth £20, it seems he was worth more than £30 million pound Berbatov apparently. Mind you Keane still ties for Liverpools worst player here , however they are still top of the league.

Keane was extremely poor on the ball, he seems to panic every time he gets the ball. You can see the pressure is getting to him. Although he did play one excellent through ball to Benayoun which should have resulted in a goal.
He was brilliant in terms of his work rate but that alone isn't going to win Liverpool the title. I think he just needs to relax and take a deep breath when he gets the ball rather than feeling that he has to beat three men and score every time. Still think he'll be a success at Liverpool
He got into the picture with Babel fairly sharpish though after the second goal. Nothing wrong with his positioning there.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

I don't doubt for a second that he will come good. I've always thought of Keane as a "form" player, a player who scored goals when in form but then went through fairly lean spells in between.

Stoke this weekend... at anfield... surley a chance to get off the mark for him
Last August, just gone, he scored against Norway.

I think he has a point actually. Just a quick glance through his record and he doesn't score many early in the season.
I know but sure its so well know now at this stage. It has been quoted every year for the last few years. Its well known he never scores league goals in August, he has not manged one since 1999.

The biggest thing missing for me from Robbies game at Liverpool is a bit of nastiness. Havent seen him once having a go at refs or team mates. I know people will say its good that he's not as petulant but its like he doesnt have the confidence in himself yet in the new surroundings and hasnt convinced himself that he deserves to be there. There have been a couple of occasions when Ive seen him getting into good positions and the pass hasnt come, the Robbie we all know would usually lose the head and give the player a b*llocking but instead he is aplauding them and has a smile on his face... Im sure the confidence will come with a goal and a couple of months to settle in there
Its really not that complicated!!!
hel defo come good for us. was very impressed with his attitude on Saturday and was DELIGHTED that he ended up not coming off (although he nearly did).
his few air swipes have looked embarrassing but he keeps getting in the positions and thats whats important,id be more worried if he just gave up when the going got tough, like a certain 30odd mill signin
french defences are brutal, could open his account tonight.
On the bench for LIverpool...tactical rotation???
Big game against Stoke coming up

First goal for Liverpool and a good one too, should have had a penalty earlier too.
The floodgates are open now
