iPod/iRiver query

I've just bought an iPod (I have my reasons!), and am quite happy with it but am wondering if it's possible to do one thing. In iTunes, songs seem to blend into one another. So the next song starts without the previous one ends, resulting in no quiet time. Is it possible to set iPods up to do the same? I've been looking around the net and can't find anything about it.

I think there is. Connect your Ipod to your computer. Then go into your Ipod section. Right click on your song choice and go to properties. There should be an option there to do what you're looking for.
