Is there any web-based FTP tool that I could use to upload on to my esatclear webspace? The FTP software doesn't want to work from the public access labs or the law labs in UCC!

Is your ISP IOL or Oceanfree?

My ISP is IOL, I found the easy way around the problem, rang home and got them to FTP it from there.

I've a feeling the FTP has been blocked in UCC to stop us plebs using up bandwith

Naw, it's just wasters in the Law Faculty....
Real students in computer science and elec eng can use all the bandwidth they like.......

Any way for us plebs to smuggle our way into the better labs? I tried the BIS Labs before but needed a bloody log-in.

The Public access is down half the bloody time!

no solution from plebs like you SOC other then choosing a decent course in college.. ala comp sci, bis or one of the eng courses
or else get a job in the computer centre

oh yea dont get caught in those BIS labs if u aint meant to be in there cause the guy who monitors them will take great pleasure in reporting you to whatever department u are in, in college and taking your id from you..
