O'Neill's do UCD's kit, which I think is one of the nicest ones in the league. But customer service, on the other hand...

O'Neill's make really good shirts. The ones I have from the 1998-99 season are still in far better shape than many of the ones we've had since. Umbro and Errea both provided woefully bad shirts.

I doubt it, since they wear the same shirts for Hurling, which is a vastly superior and more technically challenging sport than hockey.

The O'Neills shirts we had were up there with the best we've ever had. AFAIK, they were designed by someone in the club though. Looked great and we're very good quality.

We had PF Sports for a few seasons and they were also a top job. Patrick were okay as well. Errea were by far the worst. We have Jako now and think they are pretty cack as well. We'll hopefully be changing next season.

Back on topic re:Sunderland, I know that bus load left Donegal/Derry already for a Sunderland game and as far as I can make out, they were all Man U/Celtic fans. Strange but true I'm afraid. Can you believe any self-respecting Donegalman would share a bus with someone from Derry? *

*Only joking. Hopefully I don't get a ban for that

The obvious exception is the Bohs jersey, which looks like it was drawn with crayon.
It helps that they're available to buy in Sportshops and not just through the club.

Agree the overall design level has gone up bar Bohs. Good job they're all casuals anyway

That's the spiel all right. A few designs were put online, and 'Bohs fans', i.e. anyone who happened to be passing, were asked for their preference.
The shirt is appalling. So was last year's. It's a constant source of complaint, so I don't understand how anyone can defend O'Neill's, unless they are giving better service elsewhere.

Our home jersey last season was Errea and I love it. It is the exact same jersey as Kildare County's current home jersey though...

My Derry Umbro top has held up quite well over the past 2 seasons. Hmm...

best blame the missus then. It is the actual replica shirt I have problems with, the training shirts are of a much higher quality.

I swore about 2 years back never to buy a Bohs jersey again as long as its made by O'Neills. The design this year is okay but their quality is rotten. I used to buy home and away jersies now I just spend that cash on good quality Barca Nike jersies. Hopefully we are changing manufacturer after this season and alos going back to red and black, now that GF is gone and does not need the "slimming" black.

Is it the same material as the GAA tops? I think they're alright.

Sunderland seem to have settled down into their true lower Championship position now so be interesting to see if those jerseys being worn with such "pride" now...

Interesting to see that Dunphy has begun to lay into the former apple of his eye in his article in the Star, he criticises Keane for blaming the Irish players and not Stan in the Cyprus debacle

Had Setanta on in the background last Saturday and they do Premiership goal flashes. They also did Sunderland goal flashes. Does Quinn have shares in Setanta?

Of course they will. It's what true fans do.

So many people consider supporting an unfashionable Premiership club or a struggling sleeping giant in England to be a badge of honour and mock those who support the big clubs.

My first sighting of a new Sunderland jersey on an Irish person was today at 1252...
    The Model Club

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.
